 Cacique Awards Scholarship
History: The scholarship which is a part of the Cacique Awards, established in 1995 honours outstanding achievers in tourism and ensures that deserving students pursuing tourism studies have financial support. Purpose: To provide financial assistance to students pursuing tourism related studies at The College of The Bahamas' Bahamas Hotel Training Center. The beneficiary institution is responsible for the selection process. Type of Scholarship: The Scholarships are available for studies at the Certificate Programme, Associate's and Bachelor's degree levels. The proceeds are paid directly to the institution where the student is/will be enrolled. Tenability: Open to Bahamians only and tenable for studies in The Bahamas only. Amount of Award: The value of the scholarships is determined by revenues collected from the Cacique Awards Ceremony. It is offered as a full scholarship, with disbursements being the responsibility of the beneficiary institution. Application Procedure: Application forms may be obtained from the Financial Aid Office of The College of The Bahamas, and the Student Service Coordinator's Office of The Bahamas Hotel Training College. |
